So, have you ever noticed that if something is good, then it is GREAT. On the other hand, if something is bad, then it is TERRIBLE. What I'm saying is that for whatever reason, we have a tendency to overemphasize or overexagerate our memories. I think that memories aer what they are, and there is nothing that we can do to change that.
What happens is that we tend to look at our pasts through rose colored classes...as the song goes, and it implies that we either focus on one aspect or another. We look upon painful memories with the attachments that they create in our mind. The images play again and again...why allow that? Make the choice to not remember...make the choice to learn from situations and move foward. Only then can you take off the rose colored glasses...Selah...
